Equine Dispute Resolution
announces its formation for the purpose of providing arbitration and mediation
of disputes involving horses and the horse industry. EqDR provides a low-cost
and efficient alternative to expensive and time-consuming litigation and the
unpredictable results inherent in our legal system.
Equine Dispute Resolution is
managed
by Frank Becker, a Lexington,
Kentucky attorney, arbitrator and mediator who
concentrates his practice in equine-related matters. Frank has been in
the private practice of law for 25 years, and has been prominent in the
representation of clients involved in the horse business. Frank regularly speaks
at the National Conference on Equine Law, the nation’s most prominent and
prestigious seminar for equine lawyers. Frank is an experienced arbitrator and a
member of the National Panel of Commercial Arbitrators of the American
Arbitration Association. Frank is also a trained mediator and is the former
Chair of the Mediation Center of Kentucky. Frank graduated from the University
of Kentucky College of Law in 1979, where he ranked first in his graduating
class, served on the Kentucky Law Journal, and was elected to the Order of the
Coif. Frank was a partner with the Lexington-based firm of Miller, Griffin &
Marks and more recently with the Lexington office of the prominent Cincinnati-based regional law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl.
Equine Dispute Resolution will provide
arbitration and mediation services throughout the United States. EqDR‘s rates
are reasonable and cost-effective. EqDR provides a flexible and fair method for
resolving disputes that would otherwise grind through a legal system not
designed to handle equine-related disputes with efficiency or with expertise in
horse-related matters.
